The eight members of the Expert Advisory Group are some of America's most knowledgeable scholars and practitioners in crucial aspects of nonprofit operations such as government regulation, financial accountability, and tax policy that advised the Panel. Joel L. Fleishman, professor of law and public policy studies, Duke University, and Marion R. Fremont-Smith, senior research fellow, Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, served as co-conveners of the group.
