Lynn Huntley is president of the Southern Education Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia, a public charity that advances strategies to ensure equity and excellence in Southern education. Ms. Huntley was previously program director at the Ford Foundation, staff attorney at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and section chief in the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division. She serves on numerous boards including CARE USA, the interdenominational Theological Center, the American Constitution Society, and Grantmakers for Education. Ms. Huntley graduated with honors from Barnard College and Columbia University Law School, where she was a member of the law review.
