Irv Katz is a member of the Government Oversight and Self-Regulation Work Group.

Irv Katz is president and CEO of the National Human Services Assembly (National Assembly), a Washington-based association of 70 of the nation's leading nonprofit health, human services, and human and community development organizations. The members and their affiliates collectively reach every community and virtually every household in the United States-as donors, volunteers and consumers of services. As president of the Assembly, Mr. Katz oversees a dozen peer councils; affinity groups on youth development, aging, and family strengthening; collaborative public policy efforts; and collaborative initiatives. Prior to joining the National Assembly in April 2001, Mr. Katz enjoyed a 23-year career with the United Way. He is on the boards of Generations United, BBB Wise Giving Alliance, and Joint Agencies Trust, and is on the Steering Committee of the Coalition for Community Schools. Mr. Katz holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University.
