Jennifer Leonard

Jennifer Leonard is a member of the Government Oversight and Self-Regulation Work Group.

Jennifer Leonard is president and executive director of the Rochester Area Community Foundation and chair of the Council on Foundations' Community Foundations Leadership Team. She helped develop the first national standards for community foundations and chaired standards implementation from 2001 to 2004. Ms. Leonard is a board member of Community Foundations of America and the Coalition of Community Foundations for Youth. She previously served as vice president of California Community Foundation; national affiliate legislative coordinator for the American Heart Association; and as a writer, trainer, professor, and consultant serving the nonprofit sector. A former Coro Fellow in Public Affairs, Ms. Leonard graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College and holds a master's degree in urban studies from Occidental College.
