A key part of the Panel’s work will be to identify ways to increase the transparency, clarity and consistency of reporting by private operating and non-operating foundations, and to better identify and reflect the different ways foundations operate. As part of that effort, the Form 990-PF Advisory Committee will provide a broad perspective on the Foundation Financial Officers Group's work on expenditures and recommend specific changes to Form 990-PF, the main IRS reporting form for private foundations, concerning compensation, administrative expenses, balance sheet, investment transactions, supporting schedules and other critical issues. In addition, the committee will identify areas for modification in the IRS instructions, definitions, guidelines and standards. All of the committee’s recommendations will be reviewed by the Transparency and Financial Accountability Work Group. Members of the Forms 990-PF Advisory Committee are:
