Thomas F. Blaney is a partner with Conroy, Smith & Co., the private foundation division of O'Connor Davies Munns and Dobbins LLP. Mr. Blaney has specialized for more than 20 years in the financial, operational, and tax aspects of private foundations. He is also a certified fraud examiner and the secretary of The McCaddin – McQuirk Foundation. He is a frequent speaker at nonprofit conferences and has written numerous articles on a variety of nonprofit topics. He currently serves or has served on the boards or committees of The Support Center for Nonprofit Management, The Brain Trauma Foundation, and the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals Association. Mr. Blaney serves on both the board and the finance committee for the Association of Small Foundations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Society of Fraud Examiners and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Pace University.
