Eliot P. Green is a partner in the corporate department and leads the Tax-Exempt Organizations Practice Group in the New York office of Loeb & Loeb LLP. Mr. Green represents private foundations and a wide-range of public charities in the areas of social/ human services, healthcare, education, visual/ performing arts, and sports/entertainment. He has extensive experience in the structuring and   implementation of complex healthcare and social/human services provider transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, affiliations, "virtual" mergers, joint ventures,  integrations and contractual negotiations, involving both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He also advises governing boards on matters such as board fiduciary duties, governance and accountability, regulatory compliance and charitable/solicitation fundraising issues.  Mr. Green is a member of the National Health Lawyers Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. He is president of the board of the Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies, the New York state trade association representing 150 family and children services providers.  He is also on the board of the Association of Small Foundations, a membership organization of family foundations. Mr. Green received his J.D. from Case Western  Reserve University School of Law in 1983, and his B.A. from Allegheny College in 1980.
