Alan is an attorney in the law firm of Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis & Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia.  His practice is focused primarily on estate planning and representation of tax-exempt organizations.  Alan is active in the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, where he serves on the Leadership Council, and is Chair-elect of the State Bar of Georgia’s Fiduciary Law Section.  He is counsel for and past-president of the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley, Inc., president of the Mildred Miller Fort Foundation, Inc. and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Southeastern Council of Foundations.  

He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, the University of Georgia School of Law, and received a Masters of Law in Taxation from Emory University School of Law.
